Introduction

The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) Act, 1966 was enacted to promote the orderly establishment and development of industries in designated areas of Karnataka.

The Act provides for the creation of industrial areas, acquisition and disposal of land, and the establishment of KIADB, which oversees industrial development.
